This veteran owner has ridden a roller coaster
of results over the years. His initial entry,
in 2001, was on top of the table for much of the
season before being caught at the end by Markwart
and B. Loffelman in a three-way tie for the lead,
then finally losing the title in a tiebreaker
to Loffelman. 2002 saw the Kickers fall to the
bottom of the table before winning the last three
games to salvage an average showing. Continuing
their up and down ways, the Kickers started well
in ’03 but infamously lost their final eight contests
(unlcuky!), and an eight-game winning streak propelled
the 2004 Kickers into contention and a second
place finish.
