The younger Hornyak shot onto the scene in his
2003 rookie year . Making smart waiver wire movement
and free agent acquisitions, he shared the league
lead for four weeks in the middle of the season
and finished with a respectable fourth place showing.
’04 saw Hornyak’s team struggle a little more
but rally to again finish at 9-8 by winning his
final four games. This Hornyak's penchant for
immature humor (69th post, haha) and incredibly
unintelligible banter (see scrolling marquee,
above) has made him the owner everybody loves
to hate.
